Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson had a game plan.
Shortly after Travis Kelce detailed his failed attempt at giving Taylor Swift a bracelet with his "number' on it during an Eras Tour stop in July, the FOX Sports commentators shared a public plea to the pop star, noting that the singer wouldn't regret giving the NFL star a chance.
Fast forward nearly two months and two notable games later, Charissa is revisiting their call to action.
"Taylor, I don't know what you're doing in your life right now besides rocking the world," Erin said during the pair's Calm Down with Erin and Charissa podcast episode recorded on Aug 3. "Please, try our friend Travis. He is fantastic. I know we're not the best of friends, we're not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this. Go on a date with this guy."
And Charissa—who shared the throwback video on Instagram Oct. 2—couldn't agree with the idea more.
"Do it for yourself, do it for us," she added, "and do it for the people. Because there is no one who would give you a better time than this guy."
As for what Travis had to say in response to their public assist? "You two are something else!!" he commented on the social media post. "I owe you big time!!"
Fans also chimed in with the same sentiment, with one user writing, "Thank you for manifesting this. Really hope they can work out!" Meanwhile, another added, "I still can't calm down."
ICYMI, Taylor has cheered the Kansas City Chiefs player on in person not once but twice, with the latest game involving the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Oct. 1.

The group cheers on Travis and his team the Kansas City Chiefs as they face off against the New York Jets at Metlife Stadium Oct. 1. This marks Taylor's second appearance at one of his games as they continue to spend time together.
